U.S. Elections in the Cards: The Fruitless Journey

Rules of the Game
US Election 2016 in the Cards and Stars
Deep breath...

From now until October 26, Hillary Clinton has the 9 of Club with Neptune. This card/planet combination is symbolic of a fruitless journey.  Whether her journey is to seek the medical attention she needs prior to the election, or it is her personal journey to the White House, the end result is the same. Becoming the first woman president of the United States is not in the cards.

Hillary is not going to make it.

Exhale...

So what will they do? Can they postpone an election? Yes they can. It would take an act of congress, but it can be done. Looking around for answers, I notice Joe Biden’s name…. the King of Heart.

I look at his cards. He is in a Uranus cycle with the 2 of Spade. This is symbolic of an unexpected offer – a working arrangement - made because of health related issues. And these cards - his cards - they are on the table right now.

NOVEMBER - ELECTION MONTH
Swift arrangements will follow the news of Hillary's demise. Hurried meetings, financial agreements between her and those elusive moneyed men – always the money… so much money… Deals... always making deals.

Her running mate, Kaine, feels cast aside. His Queen of Diamond in Saturn, symbolic of Hillary's poor health, also indicates her troubled mind. I would not want to be in his shoes. No way, no how! But not to worry Kaine. There is lots of money for you too…

Joe Biden: The 8 of Diamond with Neptune… the promise of foreign money. (Always so much money in politics) And yes, Biden accepts the offer to run for the president of the United States. (wouldn’t you?) Truth is, Biden's birthday card is the King of Heart. We could do worse.

Donald Trump: The 3 of Hearts in Mars...  this indicates that he is genuinely perplexed about a relationship between two men. He just can't believe what's happening.  And Pence is just plain pissed off, agitated, defensive, argumentative. But wait. Why is Trump perplexed about a relationship between TWO men?

So I ask the Burning question - who would Joe Biden's running mate be? I take another deep breath and look at Mr. Sander's cards, only to find the King of Club in Venus: the Spin Master is finally on his side!

US Elections in the Cards

US Elections in the Cards
US Elections in the Cards and Stars
The set up of cards, stars and numbers for the US 2016 Elections are very strange...

Three out of four candidates have the 9 of Club during the same cycle of time. (April and May).
The 9 of Club symbolizes discontent, disbelief, lack of preparedness, disorientation and disagreement.
Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, is fully supported by the King of Club w/ Jupiter during this same time frame.
Her King of Club w/Jupiter is a card and planet combination that symbolizes a very powerful lawyer at her disposal.  It also symbolizes the Spin Master - the puppet master - the media mogul, all of whom she can count on to put her on top of the pile.

APRIL/MAY
The backlash of discontent - Americans revolt, spiral into chaos, rioting, anarchy.
Sanders health may be endangered. And he worries about the health of his family.  He feels helpless against the manipulations of the media, corporate and political machinations working against his nomination. Not even Sanders is prepared for it.
Trump grows weary... he may lose everything... lawsuits are filed against him - like a wild beast out of control, hatred begins to turn on him - his soul, his family - his wealth/properties, it all becomes one great disagreeable monster.
Cruz is furious, frustrated and dumbfounded. He's getting hit on all sides. And if he doesn't throw in the towel by mid of April or early May, Jupiter's June will do it for him.
Hillary, under the protection of the King of Club w/Jupiter comes across as a shining example of "law and order".  Composed - the status quo - in stark contrast to the chaos around her.  Her King of Club assures her of the backing of the democratic delegates (popular vote or not) - and spins the media, promoting her as the only one who can put out the flames of discontent and get on with business as usual!" AND... "Look!" says the King of Club, the greatest of Spin Masters... "Even Obama backs her up!"

JUNE/JULY
Sanders - wishing for a miracle - aspiring to overcome the machinations of the media. His health has been affected, he worries for the well-being of his family. Will his beloved America still stand behind him? Or will he have to acquiesce? Become Clinton's running mate? That was not the plan... but it may be his only option...

And Trump... is that a woman I see standing as his running mate? ghads...

Yes, this is definitely one of the strangest card games ever.

8 of Diamond - the Sun Card!

http://playingcardcollector.net/category/playing-card-art/
Spring cleaning always seems to begin with the windows. The awakening buds on trees and the clamorous activities of birds and squirrels all vying for the best view.
Feng Shui addresses the issue of dirty windows as a deterrent to prosperity. Seems the riches of the world must be gazed upon with crystal clear clarity if one is to attract the splendors of material wealth. As well, the light of the Sun needs to shine its purifying rays of splendour and brilliance within as well as without.
Did you know the "sun-card" is the 8 of Diamond? The most powerful money card in the deck!
I think those Feng Shui Masters were onto something...
So get those windows washed and let prosperity shine in your life!
PS: best streak free window solution EVER -
2 cups of white vinegar in pail of warm water with a couple drops of dish soap and the magic ingredient... a few drops of a dishwasher Rinse aid.
Magico!

All Roads Lead to Thoth

I started the final chapter "History of Playing Cards" several weeks ago.  Wow - what a journey that has turned out to be! Albeit one pushing back deadlines - such a circuitous route! Always leading back to Hermeticism, Egypt, and Thoth (aka Mercury) - the latest a beautifully well-written essay on Marsillo Ficino - by Philip Coppens - http://www.philipcoppens.com/ficino_mag.html

It seems the trouble - or rather the knot that tangles fact from fiction, alchemy from fancy, always comes down to our limited understanding of cosmic energy, and how much it actually affects our lives. And yet, the personification of planets throughout history as divine beings must have its roots somewhere. I believe those roots belong to the tree of life, keeping alive knowledge of celestial energy, and how its affects us as atomic beings.

Thoth
"ALTHOUGH treated by modern writers as one of the minor of the twelve gods of Olympus, Mercury was by no means so looked upon by the ancients, who revered, feared, consulted and obeyed him as they did no other deity, so he wielded more influence over the lives of mankind
than did all the other gods put together."

"Mercury was the peacemaker, or adjuster of difficulties, as well as the councillor and intercessor, for he could be appealed to with the certainty that his orders could be received by mankind, and by them could be comprehended through a sign language interpreted by his priests. He was in reality more powerful than any of the other gods taken separately, for, although they might be lavishly propitiated, they could not reply to invocations except through their messenger, Mercury.

He was also the inventor of emblems, pictorial art, and language, through which he could be directly approached and his wishes communicated in response to invocations by means of the Atouts [(suits or emblems)] and the pip cards. Any profanation of his mysteries was rapidly revenged by his worshippers, so it is little wonder that they were not placed in town records or in early histories.
Nor, if they were, would these mysteries have been mentioned as Playing Cards, for the ancient Book of Thoth was not classified as a game, and until the Temple of Thoth, as well as the Serapeon, near Naples, were destroyed, compelling the exiled priests to carry on their person the emblems taken from the walls, there was absolutely nothing like a card to mention in the official records. Students, therefore, must search for descriptions of wanderers, of soothsayers, of astrologers, of fortune-tellers, of prophets or of gypsies, if they wish to discover traces of the cult of Mercury, since it was gradually and imperceptibly merged into the Playing Cards as we understand them [today]." ~  MRS. JOHN KING VAN RENSSELAER - 1912
